I heard a voice in my spirit “DANCE.”
Sir? I asked the Holy Spirit in confusion and a scripture dropped in my heart; “the weapons
I immediately began to dance. Then it dawned on me that this was a dance or die affair. Come and see dance moves.
“Come, you dey mad? Wetin they do this one?” The second question was directed to his colleague. But I did not care at all. I knew it was either I danced or I died. As I was dancing, I began to hear a melody in my spirit, later I started to hear angelic voice singing out loud.
Oh no, it wasn’t an angel; it was my roommate. Turned out she had been praying in tongues when during the whole incident and she picked the signal the spirit. This so boosted my confidence that I began to dance even more crazily as she kept singing more loudly. She kept singing, I kept dancing
There was confusion everywhere. I saw the guy that was told to man the door, kneeling and crying.
It became obvious to others that their only way out of this was dancing. They had no other option. One by one they all began to rise and dance. Somewhere clapping, some where creating melody with their hands, feet and voices. Everybody was just dancing, except for a young man.
He felt he was to wise, he saw an opportunity to escape, as the other two where confused and distracted and the one who was meant to man the door was crying. Unfortunately for him, his wisdom failed him. As he was about to escape through the door, he caught the attention of one of the guys who immediately shot him, at his leg though. Some people just like to learn the hard way that they are not wiser than God.
The guy whose name was Rambo was so angry at the other one crying
“Guy wetin they worry you? you dey craze? Why you dey cry like woman! Ogbeni stand up before I knack you two by two!” He yelled
The other guy whose name was scorpion pushed Rambo angrily. “Na my brother you won kill?”
“Wetin you fit do? Na me force your brother make him come. Shey he say e no won come, but na you convince am. Shey we warn you say if he mess up we go finish am? I go knack two of una two by two.” Rambo threatened
The argument between them was so heated and one thing led to another, before we knew it Scorpion shot Rambo straight in the head.
By then their boss who refused to come out of the madam’s office, until he was done packing what he came to pack, because he literally dragged two big ghana must gos out of the office, with an angry madam and a scared employee.
Mind you, we didn’t stop dancing and singing. Some people where dancing with fear in their eyes and tears flowing down their cheeks. I won’t be surprised if someone had already peeped on his or herself. Two gunshots in less than 10 minutes, with blood everywhere. It was really a sight to behold.
